Motion Capture
Hi there - Thanks for checking out my website! All about my Motion Capturing work and Technical Problem solving below!
If you have any more questions, feel free to reach out!
Utilised Software:

Extra object tracking:
Motion Capture in Maya on Target Rig. The Flashlight was tracked as well as the character to ensure the animation is of a high qualitative standart and keeps the realistic movements of the performance!

Experience along the Pipeline
I have experience with further work along the pipeline regarding the clean up of the animation data (Maya, Motion Builder), Rigging optimisations for Mocaping and Retargeting, as well as using transferring them into game engines for futher use in Games or Animation! Click here to see where this animation was used >

Motion Capturing with two acting talents at the same time > Singled out animation after clean up on target rig in Maya
For Masters Project:
The Motion Capturing done in the ViPRE Studio at Abertay University. It's a Vicon setup with infrared markers and 12 tracking cameras. Retarget & clean up of the animation was done in Maya, and finally exported into Unreal Engine 5.
Further utilised for Metahuman animations on Virtual Production LED Wall as background for a VFX Production.

Volleyball Animation:
Dynamic Animation Capture of a Volleyball-dive. Challenge here was to get the markers attached securely and explore how accurately the tracking holds up even if some of them get out of view (under the body).
Also some rigging fixes were required for auto retargeting in UE 5 from the Vicon character
Left Upper Corner: Live Link retarget in Unreal Engine on UE Default Rig.
