Space Invader

This was my first ever coding project and the Module I performed best in my whole undergraduate studies! A fun experience overall!

​This was my first ever Coding Project and Module! First, we had to create the Alien, which was done by drawing basic shapes. Additionally, I made it so that the scale of the alien is variable and can be changed with one variable, all the other sizes will be recalculated accordingly.​​​​

Once this was set up, the 'Game Development' was next:

The story of the game was picked as a reversed space invader game. Instead of humans defending themselves from Aliens, you play the alien, that got lost on the way home. Unfortunately, you are getting too close to earth on the way pack and you have to avoid them till you make it to your home planet!

The Alien is controlled with 'WASD' on your keyboard and to pass a level you just have to avoid all the flying obstacles until they are destroyed. To destroy a Obsitcal, you track the object with your mouse and then shoot a laser at it till the HP hits Zero! A small multitasking game that gets more and more challenging with each new level!

Processing - Java Script based graphics library and IDE. Mostly used for digital arts and visual design (very beginner-friendly!)​​
